Ombre powder brows are a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo technique designed to create soft, shaded brows with a gradual, pixelated effect. Using a machine, pigment is layered into the skin to mimic the look of filled-in makeup, with lighter fronts and more defined tails. This technique is suitable for most skin types and is ideal for those seeking fuller, more defined brows with minimal daily maintenance.

FAQ

What is permanent makeup?

Permanent makeup ( PMU ), or micropigmentation, is a cosmetic tattooing technique. PMU requires an experienced PMU artist and device to implant pigments into the skin's upper layers to mimic makeup, offering a long-lasting, low-maintenance enhancement for facial features.

Is it permanent?

Permanent makeup is considered semi-permanent. It will fade over time (typically 1-3 years) due to skin cell turnover, sun exposure, skin type, and lifestyle requiring periodic touch-ups to maintain color and definition

How Long Is The Healing Process?

Expect some redness, swelling, and scabbing for a few days to a couple of weeks. Color lightens significantly as it heals.

* Details on your service(s) healing process can be found on the 'services' menu tab.

Will it hurt?

Most clients experience mild to moderate sensation rather than pain; typically described as mild discomfort, like light scratching or tweezing

We use professional-grade topical numbing products and controlled machine techniques designed to minimize discomfort throughout the service.

Is a touch-up required?

A touch-up is not medically or legally required, however a 4–8 week touch-up session is necessary to perfect the final, healed, and potentially patchy results. They are highly recommended for those seeking long-lasting (1–3 years) brows

A touch-up is essential because 30%–50% of the pigment can fade during the initial healing process, which may leave the brow color looking uneven.

Pre-Care/After Care

Please refer to the 'Pre-care/Aftercare' tab on the menu for all things prep and healing!

These steps ARE CRUCIAL, so we have dedicated an entire tab for your review!

Aftercare will also be discussed during your appointment.
